Adult Sunday School Classes:

 

Interpretation Bible Study Series:  Our class will begin the year studying John.  It will focus on the claims Jesus made about his relationship to God, the signs that gave evidence to that relationship and the resulting conflicts that emerged.  Specific passages used include making wine at the wedding at Cana, the dialogue with Nicodemus, conversation with the Samaritan woman, feeding the 5000 and Jesus walking on water.  All are welcome no matter what your background in Bible study,  You will find this course interesting and discussion inviting.  Claudia Welty is the facilitator. 

 

Upper Room Disciplines:  This is an ongoing study at 8:45 a.m. in the Cabinet Room.  Dan Mundt is the facilitator. 

 

Bible 101: This is a fourteen-week course for adults which introduces participants to the basic tools and skills for Bible study. It uses Donald Griggs' books, The Bible from Scratch: The Old Testament for Beginners and The Bible from Scratch: The New Testament for Beginners. The Old Testament half of the course runs from October 1st through November 12th. The New Testament half of the course will run beginning in January 2007. Co-Pastor Lon Weaver is the facilitator.
