Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Lester Park Worship begins at 10:15 a.m. followed by a potluck picnic. Please bring a dish to share using the following as a guideline: Last names beginning with… A-G: Main Dish H-N: Vegetable or Fruit Salad O-Z: Dessert
Also, please bring your own place setting, lawn chairs and blankets.
A box will be available to collect donations of family size personal care
products (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc.). Any contributions would be
greatly appreciated and will be donated to the Union Gospel Mission to help
fill their ongoing need for these types of products.
The Memorial Blood Centers Blood Mobile will be there again this year.
Summer is a particularly difficult time for them as donations tend to be
down and need tends to be up. The drive will be going on from 9:00 - 1:00 in
the Lester Park parking lot. It only takes about 45 minutes to donate and
one donation helps up to three people in need of blood or blood components.
Please consider donating blood while you are at Lester Park and help our
neighbors in need. Please contact Glenn Simmonds (728-2857) or Elizabeth
Simonson (391-4772) to schedule a donation time. Thank you … your gift is
