Candidates for the Ministry or Director of Christian Education The Legacy and Endowment Fund of Glen Avon Presbyterian Church offers scholarships to those individuals who are studying to become ministers or directors of Christian education. Each year the Presbytery of Northern Waters provides the Legacy and Endowment Fund with a list of students considered “under the care of Presbytery.” These students are eligible for scholarships of $1,500 per year for full-time study. The number of students varies from year to year. For more information please contact Fund Executive Secretary, Bonnie Simmonds at 218-728-2857. This scholarship program benefits not only our Presbytery, but also the entire faith community as we support these candidates for the ministry or director of Christian education.
