MAUNDY THURSDAY SERVICE
To ponder the depth of meaning in the Last Supper of Jesus with his apostles and his subsequent betrayal and denial and abandonment by them, the Glen Avon community gathers for worship on Maundy Thursday. (The word, "maundy" is derived from the Latin for the new commandment--mandatum nuovo--which Jesus gave to the apostles that night.) Our next Maundy Thursday service
